Tailem Bend to Keith Pipeline (TBKP) Valve Chamber Upgrades (Regional SA)
Oakleigh Civil was contracted to deliver the full FRP package for the Tailem Bend to Keith Pipeline (TBKP) Valve Upgrades, working alongside Fleurieu Civil and SA Water to enhance critical water infrastructure in regional South Australia.
Our responsibilities included the construction of three new valve chamber pits, strategically located in Tintinara, Culburra, and Coonalpyn.
Each chamber features 3.4m high reinforced concrete walls, with a total wall length of 25m per chamber utilising a total of 170m³ of concrete across the project. Additionally, we have constructed new plinths for the valve installations.
This complex project required precision and a high level of expertise, and Oakleigh Civil was committed to delivering these vital upgrades efficiently and to the highest standards.
These works play an essential role in improving the reliability and functionality of the region’s water supply network.

River Torrens Breakout Creek Stage 3
The River Torrens Breakout Creek Stage 3 project transformed the Torrens River Outlet at West Beach. This $18.7M initiative was led by Green Adelaide, the City of Charles Sturt, the City of West Torrens, and SA Water.
Oakleigh Civil, in partnership with Bardavcol, delivered all in-situ concrete structures, including 400m of retaining walls, 60m of seat walls, 7 new staircases, 4 staircases with bike ramps, and 2 concrete weirs.
A key challenge was achieving a high-quality exposed concrete finish, ensuring durability and aesthetic excellence to meet the project’s high standards.

Road Infrastructure
Slab On Ground
Oakleigh Civil was engaged to construct two new heavy-duty driveways for Civilmart to accommodate high traffic and heavy loads.
The project included the construction of one driveway spanning over 1,000m² and another measuring over 800m².
Our team ensured both driveways were built to the highest standards of durability and functionality, meeting the specific operational needs of Civilmart.
Port Wakefield Town Park Upgrade (Regional SA)
Oakleigh Civil was contracted to deliver the concrete works for over 500m² of decorative concrete at the newly developed Port Wakefield Town Park.
Working in collaboration with CPB and Ecodynamics, our team expertly handled the design and installation of the exposed footpath, creating an aesthetically pleasing and durable surface for the park.
The project was completed to the highest standards, contributing to the revitalisation of the area and enhancing the park’s appeal for the local community.
